John’s warm welcome to his bed and breakfast, Winchester and Hampshire, real hospitality and friendship and the enjoyment of sharing time together (with thousands of guests over ten years) will leave you feeling this is a ‘home from home’, as many visitors have said
Let John be your host and guide to Winchester. John, a photographer and guidebook writer loves meeting all his guests in his Bed and Breakfast place in Winchester. “Doing bed and breakfast has been a wonderful experience, and after twelve years I still feel delighted when my guests say they had a wonderful stay.” “I don’t think there can be anywhere so beautiful or as interesting as Winchester, especially around Colebrook Street. It’s the ideal place to stay to explore – and enjoy – the city.”
Sharing the house are two friendly and rather eccentric cats.. John has a passion for books so you can expect a home full of them. John also has a rather extraordinary family history involving ancient cars, fabulous steam trains, racing boats and ballooning and he is very proud of his peaceful secluded garden. As well as John’s very eclectic music collection you may get a chance to enjoy some of the amazing pictures he has taken in and around the city by day and night.
